Arrests

Willie Lewis Hamilton Jr., 44, of the 800 block of Dwain Drive, was charged Tuesday with breaking and entering, larceny and possessing stolen property. Bail was set at $2,000.

Ronald Dale Hunt, 30, of the 1000 block of Oak Grove Church Road in Lumberton, was charged Tuesday with two counts each of forgery and uttering, theft of a motor vehicle, larceny, conspiracy, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, and misdemeanor larceny. Bail was set at $11,500.

Robert Louis Sandidge Jr., 18, of the 7800 block of Loxley Drive, was charged Tuesday with second-degree rape. Bail was set at $50,000.

Willie Childress, 58, of the 2000 block of Loganberry Drive, was charged Tuesday with being a fugitive from Jefferson County, Ky., where he is wanted on drug-related violations. Bail was set at $30,000.

Christopher Joseph Dickerson, 18, of the 2700 block of Daly Avenue in Spring Lake, was charged Tuesday with breaking and entering, larceny and possessing stolen property. Bail was set at $10,000.

Robberies

CLINTON ROAD: An employee at Caroco at 1502 Clinton Road reported Saturday at 9:31 p.m. that the business was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash.

GILLESPIE STREET: An employee of Jay Morris Accounting at 1914 Gillespie St. reported at 7:10 p.m. Saturday that a man with a tire iron robbed the business of an undisclosed amount of money.

ROSEHILL ROAD: Chris David Hostler reported at 11:37 p.m. Sunday that he was assaulted and robbed of his wallet, cell phone and necklace at the Tranquil Drive intersection.

Theft

ROXIE AVENUE: An employee of Weaver Commercial Properties reported Saturday that a commercial-grade air-conditioner unit valued at $3,000 was stolen from a building on the 100 block of Roxie Avenue.

Arrests

ROWLAND: Russell Dean Hunt, 32, of the 200 block of Silo Drive, was arrested Friday on a fugitive warrant. No bail was set.

SHANNON: Shannell Lee McMillian, 30, of the 5400 block of Shannon Road, was charged Saturday with larceny of a firearm and probation violations. Bail was set at $3,000.

SANFORD: Franklin Jerome Reid, 44, of the Prince Down Town Motel, was charged Sunday with failing to register as a sex offender. Bail was set at $5,000.

SANFORD: Santiago Silverio Cruz, 30, no address given, was charged Saturday with taking indecent liberties with a child. Bail information was not given.

SANFORD: Fredarius Rayvon McIver, 17, no address given, was charged Saturday with breaking and entering. Bail information was not given.

SANFORD: Jamauri Keyon McIver, 18, no address given, was charged Saturday with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and breaking and entering. Bail information was not given.

SANFORD: Andrea Lanette Thomas, 31, of the 300 block of Thomas Road, was charged Saturday with harboring a fugitive. Bail was set at $1,000.

SANFORD: Arlene Bernette, 43, no address given, was charged Monday with common law robbery. Bail information was not given.

Shooting

LUMBERTON: Archie Bell, 29, of Lumberton, reported he was shot in the leg Saturday afternoon. Deputies found Bell lying on the ground near a house on Bowden Lane.

Assaults

ROWLAND: A 16-year-old boy was cut across his forehead, left arm and back by someone he knows. Kelly Bullard told lawmen she and her son, John Caulder, walked into a house on the 58000 block of N.C. 130 when the man assaulted her son with a box cutter. The incident happened about 11:49 p.m. Saturday.

LUMBERTON: An inmate in the Robeson County Jail was assaulted Saturday by another inmate. Ronald Montrell Jiggetts, 20, was arguing with Rodney Jones Jr. when Jones pulled a piece of steel and cut Jiggetts across the left side of his forehead. Jiggetts was treated at Southeastern Regional Medical Center and released.

Robbery

SANFORD: Charisse Cartera Burch reported Monday that she was robbed on the 800 block of Hawkins Avenue about midnight.
